Tufted, clump forming perennial with long narrow blue-green foliage and blue star shaped flowers.


origin	Eastern NSW, Qld, Vic, Tas, SA.
cultural notes	Grow in full sun or light shade, in moist soils.
maintenance	Older leaves can die off and look unattractive, these should be removed.
tolerates	Frost tolerant, will require watering in drought conditions.
flowering season	September to January
flower colour	Blue star shaped flower on long branching stems held above the foliage.
foliage colour	Blue-green narrow linear leaves, up to 30cm long. Can spread by underground rhizomes to form dense clumps.
width	up to 0.6m
height	up to 0.6m
plant spacing	80cm apart
recommended uses	Often used as an accent plant on rockeries for its foliage colour and spring flowers. Suitable for mass plantings or borders.
