woollybutt

A medium to large sized tree growing to 35m in height. Persistant, fibrous grey-brown bark on the lower trunk and pale brown to grey-green bark on the upper trunk and branches. Foliage is grey-green, narrow and curved, to 24cm in length.


origin	NSW.
cultural notes	Prefers deep, moist, well drained soils in a semi-protected sunny position. Its natural habitat is near coastal open forests, in low country and shallow valleys.
tolerates	Frost and drought tolerant.
flowering season	Summer.
flower colour	White to cream flowers.
foliage colour	Grey-green pendant leaves, curved lanceolate and growing to 24cm in length.
