A hardy compact shrub growing to 1m in height and spreading 1.5m. Star shaped pink flowers are abundant in spring.


origin	NSW, ACT, Qld, Vic, Tas, SA, WA.
cultural notes	A very hardy plant that prefers well drained soils in full sun.
maintenance	Can be pruned to maintain shape and encourage dense growth. Can suffer from root rot in wet soils.
tolerates	Tolerant of drought and frost.
flowering season	Spring, early summer if moisture is sufficient.
flower colour	Pink, 5 petalled star shaped flowers with prominent awns (hairs) which extend from the calyx.
foliage colour	Bright green, heath-like leaves to 1.5cm in length.
width	up to 1.5m
height	up to 1m
plant spacing	50cm apart
