Prostrate form of Acacia cultriformis. A spreading groundcover often used to 'cascade' over walls or down banks. It has attractive grey foliage and bears abundant golden ball shaped flowers in spring.


origin	NSW, Qld.
cultural notes	A hardy plant that is happiest in a well drained sunny position.
maintenance	Prune as required to maintain shape.
tolerates	Tolerant of frost, drought and poor soils.
flowering season	Spring.
flower colour	The flowers occur in small fluffy balls and are yellow-gold in colour. They are sweetly perfumed.
foliage colour	Small, triangular blue-grey phyllodes.
width	up to 3m
height	up to 0.2m
plant spacing	Plant spacing is location dependent.
recommended uses	Most often used to cascade down retaining walls or banks and in rockeries. Good for erosion control on disturbed sites. Improves soil due to its nitrogen fixing properties.
